Just a little mystery
The past couple of days I've been working on a small crazy quilt project and will keep it a mystery for now....any guesses as to what this might become?
And I wonder if the crazy quilting project is influenced by that white on white embroiderer. Make up purse? Barbie sleeping bag? Knitting needle caddy?
I'm not guessing on your project, it will be fabulous I'm sure. Thanks for the link for the Outlander knit projects, very romantic and beautiful. The quote is good, the answer to the test is always faith and hope.
Not so sure about fabulous, but it WILL be practical! I haven't seen the Outlander series but I did read the books twice so I can't speak to how authentic the patterns might be, but they do look romantic for sure.
Hi Mary Anne, trying to work out what can be made with a piece of fabric of that size.... how about a large decorative bow? Though not too sure why - perhaps to put the bow on a gift for a new Mum? Very intriguing, :-) Val (UK)
I'm not sure what it will be but as usual it looks exquisite and quite fiddly! Baby? Wedding? Have fun .... I'm just off to sort out my trash haha :) Have a lovely Sunday - hope you are home and dry!! Wren x
Nope, not baby or wedding. People are going to be really surprised when they find out (and, no doubt, quite disappointed!!). Nice sunny day here - at least so far. Plan to spend the afternoon watching (on tv) the last baseball game our team will play this season.
Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
The Barbie section is funny. The last one is like synchronized swimming!
ReplyDeleteI agree - made me laugh too, so I couldn't resist sharing.

ReplyDeleteGood guesses, but unfortunately none of the above. I think it will come as a surprise when I do the reveal!

Delete“Bottoms Up” Barbies look like an amateur Esther Williams screen call. Good quote to remember. Could you be CQing a Choir Robe Collar? LOL
ReplyDeleteThe bottoms up made me laugh anyway. Choir Robe Collar? Good guess, but nope.
DeleteThank you for the Barbie doll link. My granddaughter has some that are in need of some help :) I'm looking at her Elsa doll as I write. What a mess.
ReplyDeleteHope the tip actually does work for the dolls!

Good guess! But it isn't a bow. I'm sure everyone is going to be VERY disappointed when I reveal the end result.
DeleteHi Maryanne I have no idea what your pretty project is,but can't wait to see it finished.hope your day is a good one my friend xx
ReplyDeleteIt's done now but I won't be revealing the end result until the middle of the week.

DeleteNope, no ideas on secret project. Love the quote.
ReplyDeleteI like that quote too - so much truth in it!
DeleteAmen to that fabulous quote! I too, cannot think of what your pretty crazy patchwork pretty will be. Don't keep us in suspense too long.
ReplyDeleteThe suspense should end on Wednesday - just hope you won't be too disappointed!
DeleteNo idea what it will become, but I love it already. :) Seriously... I do!
ReplyDeleteHmmm - you must be easy to please if you love it in this state!
DeleteIs you project going to be one of your beautiful hussifs? Loved that Barbie link.... brought back memories of when my girls were small. xxx
ReplyDeleteNope - not a hussif (good guess though!). Be prepared....when the reveal does come you're bound to be disappointed!
DeleteNo guess here, but I certainly am intrigued. Love the quote!
ReplyDeleteAll will be revealed tomorrow!
DeleteIs your project something for Christmas? A needle case?
ReplyDeleteNope! Good guesses though.
