I just finished knitting this pair of socks. I know....who knew?
The pattern is a really easy one and will be my go-to
sock from now on. The heel and toe is really simple to do.
Pattern is THIS one and I used Paton's Kroy sock yarn.
One more thing for the Christmas box!
Thank you! The yard of fabric link is perfect for this winter to make quick fleece kimono.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! Glad you found something worth using and you're right - fleece versions would be lovely for winter. Perhaps would make great gifts too?
DeleteGreat sock finish!
ReplyDeleteI like the hexagon hot pads too, beautiful and useful.
Yes to the quote.
Beautiful socks Mary Anne! Christine xx
ReplyDeleteFabulous socks; I love the pattern and colours.
ReplyDeleteGreat socks. Love the colour and pattern. I'm guessing the ball is variegated.
ReplyDeleteLovely pair of socks. I still have mittens to do for granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteLove that Kimono pattern!
ReplyDeleteThey look like very cozy socks!
ReplyDeleteThe socks are really nice! And I like the Kimono tutorial, too! I had no idea these have been a fashion thing since at least 2016 (when that article was published). I thought I was a cool cat when I bought one this past spring. I should have known better. I'm rarely on time for anything...
ReplyDeleteMe either - I'm always behind, but I live in an area that's notorious for it, so it's okay. I'm happy with the socks - just hope my friend likes them too (AND that they fit!)
DeleteI LOVE the hexagon idea using machine stitch. That, I think I could do. I've tried kimono patterns and felt I wasted my time and could have hung a bed sheet over my shoulders and looked just as good. Never does it turn out looking as nice as the pictures. Looks so easy.
