Some knitting for a change

I just finished knitting this pair of socks.  I know....who knew?

The pattern is a really easy one and will be my go-to
sock from now on.  The heel and toe is really simple to do.
Pattern is THIS one and I used Paton's Kroy sock yarn.
One more thing for the Christmas box!

- There are a number of ideas HERE to use your orphan quilt blocks.

- For those of you who like hexxies, perhaps making one (or several!) of THESE might be fun.

- There's a tutorial HERE for a really adorable owl pillow!

-  If you are searching for a nice knitted hat pattern, perhaps THIS one might be just what you're searching for.

- Lots of links HERE for some really cute baby bootees.

- THIS is a quick-make that only uses a yard of fabric.

    1. You're welcome! Glad you found something worth using and you're right - fleece versions would be lovely for winter. Perhaps would make great gifts too?

  9. The socks are really nice! And I like the Kimono tutorial, too! I had no idea these have been a fashion thing since at least 2016 (when that article was published). I thought I was a cool cat when I bought one this past spring. I should have known better. I'm rarely on time for anything...

    1. Me either - I'm always behind, but I live in an area that's notorious for it, so it's okay. I'm happy with the socks - just hope my friend likes them too (AND that they fit!)

  10. I LOVE the hexagon idea using machine stitch. That, I think I could do. I've tried kimono patterns and felt I wasted my time and could have hung a bed sheet over my shoulders and looked just as good. Never does it turn out looking as nice as the pictures. Looks so easy.
