Excitement, progression and wishes

First, I would like to wish my Canadian readers a very happy Thanksgiving.  Enjoy your celebration and be safe on the roads.

I was honored (and beyond excited!!) to be asked to write an article for the 'Online Quilt Magazine' about my barns and their creation.  The issue is out now and if you'd like you can see the free version by going to THIS link.  You can then register to receive the free version of the magazine (scroll down - it's on the left) or you may pay $10 to receive the premium subscription (on the right).  Either way you can see my article.  Thank you Jody for all you do to provide the wonderful resources through this magazine.

And...over the weekend there was some progress made on the latest barn as you can see from this photo...

Your quote for today..."Thanksgiving, to be truly thanksgiving, is first thanks, then giving"

I subscribe to that magazine (thanks to a heads-up from you several months ago) and was thrilled when I saw your article. I almost wrote to tease you about being famous!! 14. I was sure I has posted a comment, but seeing that I didn't, I'm wondering if I got so caught up in your article (in Online Quilt Magazine) that I actually forgot to write anything. ;^) I do want you to know I enjoyed reading the article, Mary Anne! To read it I subscribed to the free version of the magazine. I'm not a quilter, but let's see if it inspires me... :)

    1. I didn't see a previous comment Becki so perhaps it's joining many of mine and helping to plug the hole in the ozone layer. Glad you enjoyed the article - I'm not a sane quilter either but I do subscribe because often I find there might be a hint that I can use in my work.

Traveling to Wisconsin next spring, and you give me inspiration! In the mean time, I'm messing(creating) with laces, etc...and back again to Spirit Dolls. Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
