A little bit more

There's been some more progress on the latest barn, inspired by looking outside and seeing the leaves turning.

This is mental health month, so I honor that with today's quote..."I lied and said I was busy.  I was busy, but not in a way most people understand.  I was busy taking deeper breaths.  I was busy silencing irrational thoughts.  I was busy calming a racing heart.  I was busy telling myself I am okay.  Sometimes this is my busy, and I will not apologize for it"

  1. The barn is coming along. Nice!! Love autumn colours but not the season that follows.

  2. Love those autumnal leaves, Mary Anne. Love this quote. I can't remember but have you 'built' a Winter barn as yet....that would be an interesting one. I can see a barn in the middle of a winter wonderland.

  5. This one might be my favorite. I just love that you really nailed the small hill. This is a wonderful barn!! Your quote gave me pause...do I DO that? Sometimes.

  8. No turning leaves here yet - well, not to speak of anyway. Your present quilt really puts me in the mood, though. I love the autumn leaves you've added. I love today's quote. When I get myself to walking again, now that the weather is cooler, I'm going to have to remind myself that I'm busy taking care of myself for that hour (and the half hour before in which I'm talking myself into walking, and the half hour afterwards while I'm recovering).

    1. Leaves have been slow here too - but they have suddenly made a massive turn it seems.

  10. I only have 1 wooden ironing board, my grandmother's. Don't think I'll hang it on a barn, but that is a cute idea. Love you quote today.

  11. Oh, and I download the Christmas quilt wall hanging. A good many ideas can be taken from that one piece.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
