Here is another completed project as further proof that I really haven't been idle!
I had a special request to create an
advent calendar for #1 grandson

This was created using a pre-printed panel.
Today your quote is from Frank Outlaw....
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
Oh how lovely is your grandson's Advent calendar. There is so much to catch the eye and look at. Indeed, you have not been idle at all! Those knitted little Christmas ornaments are so cute. LOVE that quote.
ReplyDeleteLove the advent quilt and love the quote.

I love you advent calendar. I made several years ago. As always, thanks for the great links.

What a cute advent calendar Mary Anne! Your grandson will have so much fun opening it! Hope you are having a great weekend! Christine x
ReplyDeleteSuper fun advent calendar!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips.
Yes, the quote is a reminder, it's easy to get careless.
I love Christmas advent calendars. My mother always made them for us girls..no boys in my family. A panel would make it easy to embellish. Marisol Mouse is too adorable but I can't knit a pattern...only simple scarves and such. Great quote that we all should put to use.
ReplyDeleteLove the Advent Calendar! You have made an awesome job of it!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that quilt! Are those pockets? They have to be pockets - it would not make sense for them to open. This is a beautiful idea - thanks for sharing that.

ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! I made advent calendars for all of our littles a few years ago. I thought it was quite a project but nothing as elaborate as yours. Beautiful!
