Mumblings today

I don't have much in the way of a picture to show you today, so I thought it might be a day for mumblings.  That way you can pick and choose what you want to look at.

Just got back from the dentist and we both had good reports - so what did I do to celebrate?...hmmm.....wonder how those Coffee Crisp chocolate bars got into my hands?  Tsk tsk.

As I said, we have mumblings...

1.  There's a cute Halloween cross stitch design available HERE

2.  Go HERE for some really nice free patterns for knitting men's socks.

3.  Here's another one that knitters might find interesting...there are links HERE for free knitting articles; resources, tutorials and tips.

4.  The Embroidery Association of Canada is going to be releasing the patterns for a band sampler and the first one (and more information) can be found HERE.

5.  There's a cute tutorial HERE to make some cheesecloth ghosts for your Halloween decorating.

6.  And HERE is a cute Halloween Mug Rug.

7.  Karen of 'Todolwen' has a tutorial for an absolutely gorgeous poinsettia HERE

AND - just so you do have a picture to look at, Pam has released a photo of the cover of the fall issue of the 'CRAZY QUILT QUARTERLY' magazine, which will be available on November 1st.  It's another great issue!

Today your quote is from Will Rogers...."Live in such a way that you would not be ashamed to sell your parrot to the town gossip"

  1. Some lovely links to look at Mary Anne.... thank you! Hope you enjoyed the coffee crisp!! Christine x

  2. I love that mug rug, but I've too much stitching on the go at the moment to start another project, unfortunately! The poinsettia looks lovely too! Glad you both got off lightly at the dentist!

  3. Thanks for the links. I checked out the embroidery association and the mug rug. That's cute.

  4. ....perhaps why a lot don't have a parrot living with them. =) Thanks for those links...I really like the knitting one. Have a lovely day.

  5. Thanks - and love the quote!

  6. Thanks for the info, have a great day!

  7. Thank you for such fun and free project links. That is quite the humorous quote today. Creative Bliss...

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
