Yes, you know I will have started on a new landscape and it seems I have at least one more 'Him and Me' lurking in my brain, as you can see from this...
I've had that piece of pre-printed flowers in my stash for ages and couldn't find a use for it - until now. I plan to add lots of hand stitching over top to give more dimension. The barn off in the distance is another piece of a panel I've had lurking about. In case you're thinking the couple are sitting in mid-air, there will be a chain added to complete the swing but that won't happen until the quilting and embroidery are done.
- THIS would be a great use for that skein of laceweight (or sock yarn) that you've had sitting around.
- I thought THIS was intriguing, but possibly not as a pincushion...perhaps as a display piece to show off pretty little embroideries or special fabrics?
- THESE are pretty and would look nice in my living room.

ReplyDeletelong ago, when Earth Science was a little soccer-playing boy, i crocheted a soccer ball for him, using white and black yarn - it was hexagons and pentagons, too (which only makes sense) - and had to be donated after it destroyed something breakable (don't remember what, but i was not happy about it, lemmtellya) ... yeah, i'm gonna pass on that one.
Sounds like you had a typical boy - ours had moments like that too.
