Some progress that's hard to see

I know it's hard to tell from a photo but I have been busy on the landscape and have it pretty much all quilted now.

I think you can click the picture to embiggen it.  Next 'up' is to do some more details on the house itself and then it will be on to adding some embroidery and deciding if I want to add a border or not.  Jury is out debating on that one.

- THIS made me laugh.  I'm sorry I can't find who created it (if you know  I will update this post)

- Have a look at the amazing creations of THIS artist!

- THIS is a cute (and quick) project for fall!

- I think THESE are rather cute (scroll down for the pattern)

  3. And there was etch a sketch for quick deleting, sometimes when you didn't mean to.

    1. I always thought etch a sketch would be such fun (didn't have one when I was a kid) so I got one for our boys. They had NO interest in it.

  4. So pretty! It reminds me of the houses in the Vermont countryside that I saw during last month's trip.

  5. Your landscape is coming together so beautifully--I really love that sky with the radiating lines--looks like a sunrise to me; )))
    Nice work...
I am resting today as yesterday I hurt my hip leaning so hard on my right side while rotary cutting...seriously, I think I will have to return to scissors and pencil lines--but...seems I can no longer cut on a straight drawn line!! ;((( I guess I need practice!!

    1. A sunrise - yay, I did it! Glad it looks like what I was hoping to create.
I'm sorry you hurt yourself. I wonder if a new sharp blade in your cutter might help?

  6. This is really lovely, Mary Anne. The house, the rays coming from behind the clouds. The rolling land. I'm behind, so I need to go look at your inspiration photo.

    1. Sorry, I haven't shared the inspiration photo on this one because I don't have the permission (yet) from the original photographer. All that to say you won't find it this time, at least not for awhile.
