I was going to wait until I had the postcards completely done, but since they're all I've been working on I don't have anything else to show you. So...here are some of them. None are completely finished.
And, here's a photo of the freezer pickles using the recipe I gave you last time....
- THIS is awwww-worthy!
- I thought THIS was interesting to read about.
- Perhaps you might like to make some of THESE (but be sure to leave some acorns behind in nature)
- HERE is another fall project you might like. There's THIS one too.
- And HERE is another.
Today's quote is from Booker T. Washington...."A lie doesn't become truth. Wrong doesn't become right and evil doesn't become good, just because it's accepted by the majority"
Those postcards will be treasured. Lovely work.
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz! They're taking a lot longer than I thought so I'm glad I started them now.
DeleteYour stitchings are so beautiful! I have tried before and never could get the hang of it, but I always love admiring others' work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Mandy! I use waste canvas (a lot!) and that helps keep my stitches even. I highly recommend it although removing it can sometimes be a bit of a pain.
DeleteJust lovely postcards in progress;))) So pretty...
ReplyDeleteMy re-org is finally finished (for now--is it ever REALLY done??) enough for now...
I am taking out my 2 smallest flimsies and am going to layer and back them up for machine quilting...I keep reminding myself
"no new starts". We shall see... hugs, Julierose
Thanks Julierose. Glad you finished your reorganization project (and no, I doubt it's ever really done because we just go an mess it up again). Good plan for the no new starts - will be fun to see if you stick to it!
