I finished working on the postcard series and here's the proof...
Along with that I also created a Christmas card which will be going to a cousin who has a Scottie dog (she doesn't read the blog so it's safe to show it)....
- There are lots of free hat patterns HERE. While you're there, check out some of her other free designs too.
- THIS looks like a fun technique to try.
- THIS would be great to do with kids (and adults too!)
- THIS is one of the awwww-worthy things.
- HERE is another sweet Halloween/fall design.
The cards look great. Also the Scottie! They'll be pleased to receive that portrait.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love resist dyeing, so I'm wondering now what to dye...
Thanks Liz! I have gotten cross stitching out of my system for awhile so now it's back to a new landscape.
DeleteJust lovely postcard finishes;))) that Scotty Dog is so cute--she will love it I am certain!! Nice works...
ReplyDeleteHugs for a good week ahead...Julierose
I enjoyed working on them but am ready to move on to another type of work now.
DeleteLovely embroidery and a cute Scottie.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nann! Every year I have to search out a new Scottie design and this was 'it' for this year.
Deletereally nice the postcards and Christmas card. I think the glue and fabric painting idea is neat. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSomeday I'd like to try that fabric painting method but it's one of those things I keep forgetting about.
DeleteBeautiful work.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda!
DeleteThey are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteawww - thank you!
DeleteAll I can say is everything is absolutely gorgeous. You always do such lovely work.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
They were fun to make but I'm glad to move on to something else now.
Deletelurving your Scottie dog!!! and the postcards are beautiful and awesome...
ReplyDeleteIt's become a tradition for me to make my cousin something featuring a Scottie so I hadn't better change now!
DeleteThe cards are BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteI'm just glad they're all done. Needless to say cross stitching is out of my system for awhile.
DeleteLOVE the postcards! Now I want to make some...... ! xx
ReplyDeleteI like making postcards because they're usually relatively quick and often use up scraps. Cross stitched versions take a little longer.
DeleteOh, these are gorgeous!!!
DeleteIf it weren't for your designs they wouldn't be half as nice!
DeleteIt would take me weeks to finish one of those beautiful postcards. I am inspired. To think about it, at least. :) Seeing them all in one post, finished, is impressive.
ReplyDeletePostcards are small projects so they don't take all that long to complete. All the same, I'm glad they're done.
DeleteAnd as I expected, your cards turned out great.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
