This is just a quick note to tell you that we're back. I know you ALL were just waiting to hear that particular news item. You weren't? Well then....
Since I'm still suffering from jet lag and nothing is getting done beyond ever-so-thrilling things like restocking the groceries and buying plants for the balcony and doing laundry, I will make this short and will hopefully return to the regularly-scheduled drivel postings on Monday.
Hope all has been well in your world!
Welcome home; hope your trip was a good one...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteWe had a great time - it was wonderful to see our family after three long years.
DeleteGlad you're safe back, and I hope you had a good time. I'm guessing that the company of little kids may have worn you out a bit.
ReplyDeleteWe aren't used to the busyness of little ones, but it was such fun to be on the story-reading detail as well as Resident Chef being able to bake cookies and muffins with the grandies. Resident Chef and #2 son tackled a couple small home reno's and had some male bonding time too. And of course there were baby cuddles!
DeleteWelcome Home! I hope you have good stories to tell. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! We had a wonderful time but it's always good to be home. Now we start counting the days until we can see them again.
DeleteWelcome home. I hope you get over the jet lag and can start creating once again.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I don't know if it's jet lag or just difficult to get motivated to do anything after two weeks in holiday mode. I did pick up a crochet hook this afternoon so something's brewing!
ReplyDeleteWe timed our respective trips perfectly. I got home on Sunday and have spent a couple days getting out from under Mt. Washmore, buying groceries and pulling weeds. Oh, then we got our new bed delivered, so we played musical nightstands and Make the Bed - that was a trip. The cats thought the first night was Playtime in Wonderland. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Mt. Washmore! Ours wasn't too bad though because we could use the laundry facilities while we were there. Did the grocery run - and a stop for some plants for the balcony - and now we're trying to recover from jet lag and get motivated to do something.
DeleteWelcome home! I look forward to hearing about the trip and especially about the grands.
ReplyDeleteThank you - we're glad to be back and getting into our familiar routine. I do NOT want to get on the weigh scales though because I know the news there won't be good!
DeleteWelcome home!
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara - now to get back into the routine.
DeleteSo glad you had a great time...missed you!!!
ReplyDeleteWe certainly had a good time playing with the grandies and visiting with #2 son and D-I-Love. Already looking forward to the next trip.
DeleteSherry of createology. Welcome home dear.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sherry! Still working to get back in the routine at home.
