a little change

There's been a little progress on the latest barn - as hopefully you can see from this picture....

Today I hope to work on the barn roof and see what happens.  Have decided, too, that the clump of grass on the lower right has to change.  It's just a bit too in-your-face, even though I do plan to embroider that area.

- THIS is a little cutie you can whip up for Easter.

- Have a look at THIS incredible eye candy!!!

- There are lots (!) of granny square patterns HERE.  There are several pages of them to choose from.

- If you crochet, perhaps you could make one (or several!) of THESE between now and Easter....or they'd be cute for anytime.

Today's quote is from Hugh Sidey..."A sense of humor is needed armor.  Joy in one's heart and some laughter on one's lips is a sign that the person down deep has a pretty good grasp of life"

    1. I love it too Kim - but then again, I haven't 'met' too many old barns that I haven't liked!

  2. I think you could be right about the green, although if it was me I'd have called it finished though! What am I on? haha I wouldn't even be able to attempt the cute easy make knitted bunny. You are so clever, your barn is beautiful!
    Have a wonderful Easter!

    1. I'm leaving the green there because I like the texture of the fabric, but it will be covered with tulle to tone it down. At least I hope that's what will work!
Happy Easter to you as well!

  3. It’s looking great! Exactly what I would do with the lower right green layer tulle or organza or something to lighten it up.

    1. Tulle and organza work miracles in these places. Haven't decided which I'll use yet...might be both.

    1. Yes, it's amazing what a difference a few hours of work will do. As for the insects - they definitely are amazing. I can't imagine working that small!

  8. Yes, would you please get rid of that 'in your face' patch of green????? Hahaha you're such a perfectionist . . . and it seems to work as you continue to turn out these masterpieces!

    1. Consider it done - or at least it will be later today!

  9. I, too, would get rid of that green. However, there are ways to tone it down. For example, lots of 'grass' with either threads or frayed fabric pieces. My two cents worth! Love those bunnies.

    1. Your two cents worth are always welcome! I've 'tulled' it and will be adding some embroidery later on. Looks much better now, altho' I'm still toying with another layer of tulle.
