....and you will receive!
(mainly because I have nothing else!!)
A couple of people have asked to see my button collection so here you go....
I received this wonderful hand-made magpie for Christmas and needed a place to put him/her. Getting rid of four of my button jars gave me just enough space to display my magpie. A win/win!
Another quote from an anonymous source.."Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around"
Wonderful button collection, my dear.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary Anne wow thats a lot of buttons, your magpie looks fantastic there xx
ReplyDeleteThe buttons are cool but that magpie is AWESOME!!!!
ReplyDeleteButtons galore! You sure beat me in the button collecting. Very nice magpie gift you received. I like the embroidery links. Thanks
ReplyDeleteYou tease . . . we need a panoramic shot of the button wall. LOVE the magpie!! What a sweet gift! I pinned the heart sachet pattern - very cute! Those embroidered pieces . .. oh my goodness!! What works of art! Thanks for sharing all of your links and contributing to my growing desire to get back to stitching of some kind.
ReplyDeleteYour button collection is impressive. Did you make Elron? He's the best!!

Gee Elyron, we are just looking - honest! No thought of getting closer! Keep that magpie on its best behaviour!
ReplyDeleteYou Sweet Mary Anne are button wealthy! How delightful to have them displayed where you can enjoy them. Elyron is a magical mascot and I do hope he makes good friends with Magpie. You have shared some amazing embroidery links. I am in awe. Happy Valentine’s Dear...xo
ReplyDeleteThanks for that view of your workroom/button collection.
ReplyDeleteAnd I enjoyed the different embroidery links. The 'lichen and moss' stitches
are amazing.
Jars of pretty buttons all in a row. There is something terribly satisfying seeing a row of colourful buttons all together. Elyron is very cool and the magpie is a handsome fellow. The thought "birds of a feather flock together" comes to mind.....=)
ReplyDeleteElyron is gorgeous! Did you make him?
ReplyDeleteLove the magpie too!
Hugs
Barbara xx
Your button stash is awesome and to think it was even bigger before the Magpie came, they all look so attractive and of course, the bird is the icing on the cake!
