We made it safely across the country and are thoroughly enjoying baby cuddles and spending time with our son and daughter-in-love. See?.....
It's not a great picture because it was taken with the camera on my tablet . ..sorry.
We have another few days here and then I'm prepared to shed copious amounts of tears when we leave. It's unlikely we'll see them again for a very long time so it's going to be terribly hard to leave. Tring not to think about it!
Hope you're still having fun amongst yourselves .
So, sex, name and weight of new baby? Huh? Huh? And best wishes to the mom, too from this long distance faux grandma!oh and to son..
ReplyDeleteOh, this boy is so handsome...I understand your feeling, to go back home must be so hard...
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
Rengin
So glad you have been having a lovely time and I hope the parting is not too painful for you all! Have a safe drive home! Christine x
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful for you!
ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip back.
Your grandson is adorable, Mary Anne. So happy you arrived safely to experience all that happiness. Take care driving back. It will be very sad to say goodbye to your family.
ReplyDeleteOh..what a darling!! What a great joy for you! Any names yet? Must be so hard to choose a name when there are 100's to choose from and that name will probably stay with the child for a lifetime. ENJOY, enjoy, enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you all. What a cutie. Where has the month gone? Safe drive home.
ReplyDeleteIt's so difficult to leave one's grandbaby! But you did get to snuggle, and cuddle, and kiss and hold her in your arms, so I'm happy for that. It wrenches the heart when our family live so far away, and visits become very few. Hugs
ReplyDeletebeautiful baby. at least, these days there is facetime so you can stay in virtual contact.
