Points, of the Prairie Kind

Because yesterday was such a wonderful day outside (not!!), it was a good day to stay at home and create these....

These are embellished prairie points which will be used around the outside of White Cloth #2.

I thought this was particularly appropriate, considering our weather lately.

I found something colourful that has been created by a 'young' lady and if you go HERE you can see what I mean.  Be sure to scroll down to see them all.   I would love to learn to make these someday.  One more thing to add onto my ever-growing list of things to do!!

Today is another quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson.... "Most of the shadows of this life are caused by standing in one's own shadow"

Nice variation on your prairie points.
The color and design on the thread balls are so fascinating, I could see how a person couldn't make just one.
Yes to the quote, would 'self' please step out of the way so the light can shine in!

Holy Moly!! Thanks to the link for fabulous art. The balls are great, but I can see they would take a tremendous amount of time to conquer!

Love your pic. Hope one of those hands is not yours ~lol~

Happy Weekend.
xx, Carol

Beautiful prairie points! I never think to do anything like that. Love the gloves in the snow. Adds a bit of humor to the awefull snows coming so early.

Your prairie points are all dressed up! Yes my hand is up along with those buried in the snow!!!!
Spring won't arrive soon enough and it is not even winter yet!
