Not much stitching, at least by me

Instead of showing you my minimal stitching efforts from over the weekend, I thought I'd send you off to check out a couple of things that might interest you.

Firstly, Mary Corbet has an excellent article on her blog about how to choose, and use,  the proper hand embroidery needles.  Mary always shares great information with her readers and this article is no exception.  Go HERE.

Secondly, Karen Ruane has a new online class on offer!   'Swathed In Stitch' is a 12 week learning experience you don't want to miss out on.  I have taken several classes with Karen and I have loved every single minute and have learned so much from one of the most talented needle artists around.  If you buy a Christmas present for yourself, or choose to put a request in to Santa Claus, I promise you won't regret it.  Go HERE for further information, and even if you don't plan to take the class, go anyway just to see the beautiful work Karen has been doing!!

I spent the weekend knitting some more felted slippers and they're rather boring to see, so instead I found this...

Today the quote is from Epictetus.... "He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has"

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
