Great mail and stitching...
I received a lovely surprise in the mail yesterday
from Pam Kellogg....a pretty brooch
in my favourite colours!
Isn't it pretty?
Thank you SO much Pam!!
AND...
I finally completed one section of my
Road To My House wallhanging!
Please keep in mind that these are my first attempts at free-motion stitching!
What a darling brooch...and what a thoughtful friend...love that colour! Your stitching looks amazing...have a great day...hope you can fit in some more stitching time. xoxoxo
Pam was sweet to send you such a lovely brooch. I have a feeling she knew it was your favorite color. Nice start on your free motion project. I'm sure it will turn out great.
Your new broach is pretty and a lovely gift from a friend. I think your free motion bookshelf is amazing! This is fabulous for a beginner. Well done! Hugs, Terri
Is the wallhanging from Carol in NZ's class? that looked interesting but I am too busy to take another class. Did you do her journal one? I have thought about it and hope she does it again.
Pam is a sweetheart. do you know she only lives about a hour north of me but we have never got together. One of these days we must.
Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
Love your gift brooch. Lovely colors and the buttons really make it special. I love buttons!
ReplyDeleteLove your stitiching MA. Your piece is going to be great!

You're quite welcome MA! Like I said in my note, perhaps it will keep your Winter coat from feeling so heavy! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your free motion embroidery. I have a free motion foot for my machine and I've tried it but I think (know) I prefer handwork.
Love & hugs, Pam
Wow that's amazing. I am always in awe of someone who can use a sewing machine - and free motion - clever, clever, clever.
