Progress on TIF
I actually had an afternoon to stitch today, so I have something to show you! The block is progressing nicely. I found the piece of (antique) lace I wanted to use and it's been inserted. Picture is clickable!
Your work is lovely ... makes me want to do embroidery. I have a long and serious history of needlework in my past. Originally, my plan was to create mixed media art pieces utilizing all that knowledge. Instead, I've found new trails to blaze. But your work makes my fingers yearn to lovingly caress fine threads in place on luscious fabrics.
Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
those additions up by the silk screen sure are pretty...

ReplyDeletevery lovely - the embroidery really brings those dark colours to life, or is it vice versa? anyway ...a tremendous improvement!
