Almost

There's almost a jacket - but not quite.  Another day should finish it so hopefully I'll have an updated photo for you next time.  In the meantime, the use-up-the-sock-yarn-stash project is growing but it's a slow slog.  I can usually manage two squares each evening but I'm refusing to sit and figure out how many I'll need to make a blanket large enough AND how long it's going to take.  At least the saving grace is that the squares are added as I go along so I won't have to sew them together afterwards - silver lining?

- THIS would be a great stash buster for yarn.

- I'm not about to make another jacket anytime soon, but THIS one did catch my eye (the Vibrant Sashiko Jacket that comes up first).

- Have a peek through the gallery of THIS artist!

- HERE is a cute little project.

- There's an interesting article HERE about pricing your handmade items.

Today's quote is from Tony Robbins..."Trade your expectations for appreciation and the world changes instantly"

  1. weaving in all of those ends is challenging enough, without having to assemble them all at once instead of as you go ... it's interestingly unique - i'd wrap myself up in that!

    1. Weaving ends in is the most tiresome part of any project but luckily I can weave in the beginning of each square as I knit and then only have to worry about the ending bit of yarn. Still ends to do, but only half as many! It's another of those projects that makes the RC raise his eyebrows and shake his head...my one goal in life is to befuddle that man...hee hee.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
