hmmmm....

Just a wee note - if I disappear off the face of the earth, don't be concerned.  My computer is doing strange things and I'm beginning to wonder if it's on the way out.  Of course the strange could be happening because it's done a couple of updates recently and perhaps the first one didn't work properly.  Who knows, but thought I'd let you know, just in case.

I fell down on my resolve and ordered an influx of creative fodder as you can see from this...

- I doubt I'd ever try THIS, but of course the fact that it uses denim was intriging.

- Have a scroll through THESE - definitely some inspiration there.

- There's inspiration of a different sort HERE.  While you're there, spend some time exploring because there's lots to see.

- THIS guy simply made me smile.

Today's quote..."We cannot force someone to hear a message they are not ready to receive, but we must never underestimate the power of planting a seed"

  1. Pro tip, get a cheap Android tablet, it's all I ever use, I departed years ago from expensive electronics. I'm cheap!

    1. I actually do have a tablet but I rarely use it. My background is secretarial so I'm used to using a full-size keyboard hence the liking for a desktop computer. There might be a way to hook up a full-size keyboard to a tablet but if there is, I haven't a clue how to go about it. I prefer a large-screen monitor too so there's that.

  2. Wow! Great links! The fabric art is astounding. I’m beginning to wonder if that craft is what I should be doing. Lots to think about. Thank you for the inspiration

MA here - I use a lot of green threads so it was time to augment my supplies a little.

  4. Shhh, I will be adding to my creative fodder collection as well this weekend. Being in Regina makes me purchase fabric, batting, and embroidery floss. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can stay away from the yarn.

Got to ask who you order from?

    God bless.

    1. This lot came from Stitch Central. They seem to have what I like so I tend to order threads from them if I can. I'm drooling over some fabric from Little Extra Something too but have resisted (so far!) because I really don't have a project in mind. Hope you find some good deals!

    1. It's not that I *needed* the flosses, but it's nice to have some of the more up to date colours. I'm still using up some that belonged to my grandmother.

  7. I hope your computer is OK. I really hate the process of setting up a new computer. It's a total drag.

    1. At this point I'm not sure whether it's my computer or something that Google is doing with updates that have gone awry - or a combination of the two. Seems to be better today, but who knows what tomorrow might bring.

  8. Those threads are beautiful! I recently was out of my ever-loving mind and bought more colors of crochet thread, and then I felt compelled to buy some yarn to make a shawl I didn't need. And since I'm confessing, I've been buying some fabrics and tools for a fantasy quilt my fantasy self dreams of making. Sanity has taken hold again, and for now, I'm back on my craft supply buying moratorium.

    1. Oh dear - it's hard to deal with the guilt of buying more supplies, but aren't they nice to have! Sanity, to my mind, is highly overrated.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
