I've now added another section (or at least mostly) to the landscape as you can see from this closeup. There's a multitude of varying skinny bits of fabric twisted together to create the tree limbs. The leaves are leftovers from another landscape - originally they were a dark yellow but some paint changed that to something a little more summer-like.
- If you hate wasps (don't we all?), perhaps you'd like to make one of THESE to see if it might deter them. OR perhaps you'd prefer to make THIS version.
- There are some cute ideas to use fabric scraps HERE.
- If you like hats, perhaps THIS one might catch your eye.
- If you'd like to treat yourself (or someone else) to a new needlebook, perhaps you'd like to make this - Part One and Part Two.
Today's quote is from Leonard Cohen... "There is a crack, a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in"

again, wow!!!
ReplyDeletethere are so many cool things going on inside your head, and the way you use fabric to make them come to Life is amazing.
Guess all my sleepless nights are good for something!!
Deletethat's a lot of work bringing it all too life and all together, but it's looking so good. I am understanding more and more the process.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy what I'm doing so it's not really work (at least not in my mind anyway).
