Over the weekend I decided it was time to tackle a grande scale cleanout of my sewing room so I brought in the backhoe and set to work. So far there are two full garbage bags and a whole bunch of recycling heading out of here. Two bags of books and magazines heading for the library donation bin too.
- THIS is the only kind of Christmas cactus I'd stand a prayer of keeping alive.
- I like the idea of THIS, but I definitely would make it in fleece to keep the cost down.
- Any of THESE would be a welcome gift.
- HERE is something that would be easy to make and would be very practical (and cosy!)
Today's quote...

It sounds like a major task in the sewing room. Amazing how it mounts up. It's going to be nicer to work in now, and easier to find what you need next. Take a bow.
ReplyDeleteI haven't managed to get rid of as much as I'd hoped, but at least the job has refreshed my memory about what I do have.
DeleteLove that raw-edge cactus applique pattern...and great quote, too--
ReplyDeletegood luck with your re-organization:))) hugs, Julierose
Thanks Julierose. Today should finish up the sewing room if all goes well.
DeleteThat's quite a task to tackle just before Christmas. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteEverything is pretty much done for Christmas so it's a good time to tackle it before I start into something new.
