Yes, I have nothing done at the moment but am gearing up to deal with these piles of fabrics. Somewhere in there are four pairs of pj's for the grandies and four pillowcases and four pairs of adult lounge pants, all destined for the Christmas box. Should keep my sewing machine humming for a few days!
- THIS leads to all sorts of free crochet patterns, some of which are very cute.
- I'm going to have to remember THIS!
- Making THIS (or more than one!) would be fun for Christmas.
- If you have scraps of plaid fabric perhaps you'd like to try making some of THESE.
Today's quote..."Sometimes you have to let go of the picture of what you thought life would be like and learn to find joy in the story you're living"

You are inspiring me to Make Something with my boxes of fabric pieces and my Aunty Ruby's Featherweight.
ReplyDeleteI really hope you do Make Something and share pictures!!
DeleteGo for it, Quinn! And that glitter glue instruction is hilarious! Get glitter, get clear glue, mix, done! My kind of teaching.
ReplyDeleteMaybe if we both cheer her on?? Might be tempted to make some glitter glue because I have the makin's.
DeleteGreat group of links
ReplyDeleteYour fabrics will keep you busy. This time of year always feels better when there are seeing projects to work on.
I'll be happy to get the PJ's all done but have to wait to finish them because my stash let me down when it came to the drawstring cording. It's on the way.
DeleteBeautiful colours and patterns!!!
ReplyDeleteOur kids told me what the grandies are interested in so their PJ and pillowcase fabrics reflect that. Hopefully they're still 'in' to their choices by the time Christmas gets here.
DeleteThe Christmas box is about to fill up!
ReplyDeleteIt's getting there!
DeleteLots of lovely fabrics there. The Christmas box will be filled in no time at all.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
My list of makes is dwindling - soon it will be on to the baking and the preserves.
DeleteCozy fun in your sewing space this week!
ReplyDeleteCan't have my family cold during the winter!
DeletePJ's Are Us - who doesn't love a pair of jimmyjams?!?
ReplyDeleteHopefully they like them!
DeleteGreetings MA: I am looking forward to seeing the PJ's the pillow cases and all the other items you will be making for the Christmas box, sadly my sewing machine is at the doctor getting cleaned and fixed.
ReplyDeleteCatherine
I had to take my machine apart and clean it this afternoon - it's amazing how much 'guzz' gets in it.
