For chocolate dough: cream butter & sugars til light & fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture.
Divide each portion in half. Knead 1 peanut butter and 1 chocolate portion together 5-10 times or til it begins to swirl. Shape into 10" log. Wrap in waxed paper. Repeat with remaining dough. Refrigerate 3-4 hours or until firm.

And, before I go any further, I hope all my American friends had a happy Thanksgiving yesterday.
- THESE are really pretty!
- If you have a dog in your life, perhaps they would like some of THESE for Christmas.
- THESE would have lots of uses this time of year.
- THIS would make a cute little gift, particularly if it were accompanied with a little cash.
- Sometimes it's the simplest things that are the most fun to create as THIS will attest.
Today's quote is from Bob Marley...."You will never find justice in a world where criminals make the rules"

Thank you, Thanksgiving was very good this year. And I do like a clay recipe. This one looks non sticky. Good. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteThank you so much for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteI have fun searching out interesting (at least to me!) links so glad you enjoy them.
DeleteWhat a beautiful list!👍👏
ReplyDeleteNice to see it written down and checked off!!
DeleteMom used to do many refrigerator cookie recipes. I really should do some of those this year.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how far ahead you have gotten in the last few weeks.
God bless.
The target date (at least in my mind) is this coming Monday to mail the parcels out to our family, hence the reason why pretty much everything is done. Just have to package up the baking and we're ready to ship.
DeleteI remember when dough crafting was All The Rage. Thanks for the recipe. I bought big two jars of peanut butter from the clearance cart at the supermarket--50% off. Then I found out that 50% off was $8.48--at full price, yikes!
ReplyDeleteI remember that too and I think I did some back in the day.
Deleteokay, okay, OKAY!!! you win this week's Over Achiever Award!!!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh - that quote! it totally explains just about everything that is happening in this particular country...
ha ha - it helps to have a deadline for mailing coming up fast!
DeleteGosh found my way back into blog world! Must try those cookies lol xx
ReplyDeleteThe cookies are definitely good! I love chocolate and peanut butter together so these fit the bill.
DeleteI wish I was so prepared for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHaving to mail parcels to our family forces me/us to be ready a whole lot sooner. Now I can spend the rest of the month being social and maybe, just maybe, doing a grand scale clear out of my sewing room.
