My landscape isn't progressing very fast so there's really nothing to show you. So...since rhubarb is in season right now, how about a recipe (or two)?
- I thought THIS was fascinating (Thank you Liz for the heads up!)
- HERE is a fun project you might like to try.
- If we still had a garden I think I'd love to try making THIS.
- I know most, if not all, of us are trying to save money so I thought I'd share THIS article in case there are some tips there that might be helpful.
Today's quote is from Khalil Gibran..."A truth can walk naked, but a lie always needs to be dressed"
I'm glad you showed some of Katherine Ducks' work. She gets more and more complex.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved Lego so must admit I found her work fascinating.
DeleteDammit. I typed Duclos. That change happened after I hit publish.
ReplyDeleteHah - gotta love auto correct!
DeleteThanks for the recipes, rhubarb is growing just great here. I could be out harvesting, but Harvey says the stalks are too thin right now. Hopefully next week.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I really wish we still had a rhubarb patch but luckily one of our friends is willing to share hers.
DeleteI've never had rhubarb. Those paper cuts are amazing
ReplyDeleteLeeAnna
Rhubarb is one of those things that seem to be a rite of passage for spring. It basically almost grows as a weed but for some reason it's very costly when you try to buy it in the store.
DeleteI haven't had rhubarb in years, but I've heard about people making rhubarb wine and must say that sounds tempting. Sidenote: the more times I type the word "rhubarb," the more wrong it looks :)
ReplyDeleteLol - rhubarb IS a weird word when you think about it. I've never had rhubarb wine...somehow it doesn't appeal to me (I don't like wine to begin with).
DeleteSomething about rhubarb that I cannot come to desire. I think because it looks too much like celery which isn't supposed to be part of a dessert. I will say my Mother did make a descent cobbler with it. Just had to put celery out of mind.
ReplyDeleteThere are two types of rhubarb - one that's green in colour and another that's more red. I prefer the red but it's not always easy to get.
DeleteHooray for rhubarb!
ReplyDeleteExactly! I always look forward to it.
DeleteHello MA: Looking forward to seeing your progress on the landscape.
ReplyDeleteThank-you for the recipe and links.
Catherine
Landscape reveal should happen on Monday, provided I can get a decent picture.
DeleteMmm this looks good - I'm going to save it for when I get some rhubarb! xx
ReplyDeleteHope you get some and can try the recipes.
