Small update and of course a continuation

I think you can see that there's been some progress on the latest landscape....

  1. Isn't it amazing how much we pack into a kitchen?

    1. It's a constant source of amazement to me just how much we have managed to pack into a teeny little apartment kitchen. I must say it's functional though!

  2. Okay, now your landscape is at that point where it looks complete to me and I get really excited because I know you're going to introduce something unexpected, but so purposeful that I can't imagine the picture without. No pressure, but I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next. ;^) Looking through your newest castoffs, I'm kind of fascinated with that little salt and pepper shaker that has shakers turned in opposite directions. What is its history, I wonder? And does it work? It's so quirky, I love it!

    1. Oh, but there's more!! You'll have to wait until Monday to see what else I've done. As for that little shaker - I didn't think to peek inside to see if there were two chambers but I tend to suspect it might have been for sugar rather than s & p.

    2. Oh... if that's the case, I guess it's still kind of quirky, but I was really fascinated at the idea that it might be a salt and pepper shaker. Is there only one hole in the bottom?

    3. I can't answer that because I didn't pay attention to the bottom before I packed it up. I suspect there was only one hole because it's not that large overall. Perhaps it was an 'either' 'or' situation where it was used for only one thing.

    1. Me too! It's at the stage now where I'm putting on the finishing touches and that's always the part that scares me most.

  5. Aah yes....the 'what-seems-impossible' things that get done in the last minute. Love this saying. As for your landscape, oh my goodness it is looking amazing! Love those clouds and the stitching in the snow really makes the gorgeous tractor pop. I think this is my new favourite landscape of yours, Mary Anne....but....then, there is the next landscape of yours that isn't even a thought yet.

    1. I agree - the details either make (or break!) a piece.

    1. There has been a considerable change since this photo was taken - hopefully good changes, but that remains to be seen. It's finished and photo ready to be published here on Monday!

    1. Thank you Sherry - I had fun with this one and have to admit I'm champing at the bit to start another one soon. And...decluttering is an ongoing process, that's for sure.

  10. Love the tractor! The embroidery artists - wonderful! Sent the one with the birds to my friend in NL as she's a bird watcher/quilter/hand embroiderer.
