I'm still playing with felt here at Chez Magpie and today's 'offerings' are these....
The beginning of a salad |
I'm also pondering how I will create a landscape quilt from this photo...

Hahahahha... laughed right out loud at the little bunnies ... so cute....
ReplyDeleteMe too! Couldn't resist sharing them in hopes they would give someone else a moment of fun.
DeleteFun felty salad! Love this photo and you will create this lovely old rusty automobile landscape in fine form. I adore the little fabric house. Another very good quote. Blessings Dear...
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to have a go at the old car - just hope I can do it justice!
DeleteYour new project looks exciting, good fun.
ReplyDeleteThe rabbits are funny, I can remember feeling like that on a sled when I was a kid!
Fabulous work by the artist.
My chuckle with the rabbits was the closed eyes of the 'driver' - not exactly safe!
DeleteOh boy... That car is going to be very interesting to watch grow into quilted art. I agree... those felted animals are hilarious. I liked the link to the fabric house. I have a recipe box that's made from fabric into the shape of a house. I didn't make it, but the pictures give me a very good idea of how it was made.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric house was intriguing for sure....would love to attempt making one. Think I'll stick to landscapes though!
DeleteCan't wait to see what you do with this next landscape Mary Anne! Love those felt onion rings! Brilliant! Christine xx
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to it too Christine - it's going to be a definite challenge I think. Sink or swim, right?
DeleteI'm looking forward to seeing a quilt with that old jalopy on it. Great links too!
ReplyDeleteMe too Lorraine! Just hope I can do it justice.
DeleteI, too, look forward to seeing this next quilted piece!
ReplyDeleteGood thing, because it's going to be featured a lot over the next week or so!
