Mumblings

Yep, it's a mumble day...again.  Stitching is happening but since the project is hush hush, I can't show you (never fear, you WILL see it eventually).

SO...

1.  I thought perhaps you might like to go and read a wonderful interview of my friend Pam Kellogg over on Abigail's Attic.  Go HERE for that.

2.  Pam has been busy planning what she will be doing for the 'Crazy Quilt Gatherings' magazine when she takes over in January and has given us some submission guidelines (look at the top of her blog for her "Call for submissions for Crazy Quilt Publication' for further information on that).  Also scroll down to her April 29th post for even more information and her publication schedule.  Go HERE.   You can also find some information on her blog about submitting your work to Pat Winter (the current owner of the 'Gatherings' magazine) for publication during 2014.

3.  Sunshine!   We have sunshine!!  Still have to wear a jacket but we are happy for the return of some sun.  This year we have to be pleased with the small steps towards spring.  We walked along the river today and I, of course, forgot to take my camera.  Will try to get some pictures next time.

4.  Spring must be here because we have a pitcher of iced tea in the fridge!  Yum.....

Today's quote (from Sir Robert Helpmann).... "The trouble with nude dancing is that not everything stops when the music stops"

  1. I don't believe in this stitching at all. I think you've been sitting with your little tootsies up, eating bonbons and watching reruns of old movies...

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
