Latest stitching - of two sorts....

I got a bit more done on the denim purse over the weekend as you can see...

I did a row of web stitches, that look like little flowers.

Below is another of the seam treatments from Pam Kellogg's book,
with some beads added.

Four more from Pam's books...
the seam on the right (with additional beads);
the green on the left, and the two blue

 And, please meet Hobbes
(from the comic strip 'Calvin and Hobbes')...

Hobbes is crocheted and comes from
a free pattern available HERE.

  1. I love those stitches - especially the web flowers. Hobbs is quite a cutie.

  2. Such fun to stay a visit awhile and try to catch up on your lovely stitching and creativity!

    Blue denim is so pleasing to me in every shade and your needle touches really bring it to life in a new way MA!

  3. Very nice seam treatments- the flowers especially. Looks like Hobbs is planning some mischief.

  4. Hi MA,
    I've been neglecting my blog and my blog friends for so long and I'm missing all of it. So, I thought I'd pop in and say hi. Your denim purse is lovely!

  5. Beautiful embroidery. This is going to be such a pretty purse! Hobbs would be a very cute studio buddy! xo

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
