My fascination with birds continues...

Still working on the secret project so nothing to show for my stitching efforts at the moment, so instead I will send you to see a couple of neat things.

1. Remember my sending you to visit the live camera on the eagle nest at Berry College (btw - the baby has grown tremendously!!)?   Well, now they have a link to a live cam inside a bluebird nest.  Right now the mama bird is busily building her nest so if you go for a visit you might have to wait a bit to see her.  I'm sure she will be laying eggs soon.  Anyway, go HERE to see the nest.    And if you missed my link to the eagles nest go HERE.    They have over ten million views (yes, you read that right!).

2. Maureen Greeson has posted a wonderful tutorial about how she makes her beautiful pincushion half dolls.  Wish I had known her method when I attempted to make one years ago.  Go HERE to see hers.

Today's quote is from Thomas Carlyle....  "Every day that is born into the world comes like a burst of music and rings the whole day through, and you make of it a dance, a dirge, or a life march, as you will"

  1. I like today's quotation!

  2. Thank you for the links! I have a half doll that I want to make a pincushion with, so this is perfect timing. Secret stitching.......hmmmm.

  3. Thanks for the links:)

  4. You have a secret project?.......I wonder what it might be......
I was watching the eagles, but it was using up all my GB's!
    Nice quote.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
