Crazy quilt seam treatments

Here are some more seam treatments that I completed today...



Above is a fairly simple treatment, done using waste canvas 
in order to keep the stitches even.  

Below is a piece of tatting, highlighted with some gold beads.

Below I used pearl cotton to make the lazy daisy flowers,
gold embroidery floss to make the cretan stitches,
and silk ribbon fargo roses to
finish it off.

  2. I didn't know you knew how to tat. I try to learn a couple of times but it didn't stick. Do you use a hoop when embroidering? Your stitches are lovely.
