I'm loving the direction of your barn! ...Hi MA! I'm loving the direction of your barn! It has changed a great deal since the last time I stopped in. Your featherweight made my heart jump. That is exactly like my mom's old machine, the one I learned to sew on. I don't know the model number but the 1951 would be right in the time that she probably got it. The first thing I made on it was a beach towel...lime green and royal blue swirly patterned terry cloth. I sewed the hems and the end. LOL Enjoy the lovely little machine!Threads of Inspirationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10068595934542214350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24429902.post-35717020957585223552018-03-26T10:02:29.134-04:002018-03-26T10:02:29.134-04:00Oh my - that sewing machine is beautiful! I worked for a Singer store in the early 70s too selling machines. I flew to help her unpack and we came across a featherweight she had bought some 30 years before and had never even threaded it. She gave me the machine and it has had a prominent place in my living room ever since and even though I have 4 other machines it is the featherweight I use. It has best and tightest stitch of all....I love mine and you will love yours also....Gerry Kruegerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15443636394415186783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24429902.post-60198621915786532952018-03-24T11:40:09.864-04:002018-03-24T11:40:09.864-04:00The barn is really taking shape!
