Nothing to show.....so.....

I haven't shared a recipe with you for awhile so how about this quick and easy one...

PINEAPPLE BEANS

1 large can EACH navy white beans & favo beans*

1 lb. hamburger 

1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 c. BBQ sauce
2 T. soy sauce
1 tsp. EACH salt & pepper
     Sauté beef with onion & garlic; drain.  Combine 
with remaining ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes.  
Serve over rice.


·         Use any combination of beans you prefer

  1. Holy Cow!! That sounds SO good! I've made my mom's recipe for many years and it's always a hit. It's similar but the pineapple -- OH THAT SOUNDS WONDERFUL!! I am definitely going to try this and it may be very soon! I LOVE the little first-aid kit and hope to make that as well!

  5. This recipe has me intrigued! It sounds tasty. Your links have me wishing I could knit (though, I'm not sure which craft I would give up to find the time - lol!) And I love your quote. I think I prefer the Face Everything and Rise. :)

  7. That recipe does sound delicious for a cold winter evening, thanks for sharing.
    I think the beaded friendship bracelet could easily be done in cross stitch. I like the
    butterfly and ladybug version too.
    The quote is good. Sometimes I don't have the strength to rise in the face of a storm but
    hanging in there is also an option.
