Woof woof!

I finished the little doggie that is destined for the Christmas box and here he is....

Pattern can be found HERE.

We were traveling the back roads on the way home this afternoon and came across this wonderful barn (I know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!) and I'm itching to try to create it in fabric.

I know it's in imminent danger of falling down and being gone.  It's so sad to see them being so neglected and I think that's why I find a certain amount of beauty that needs to be preserved.

Today your quote is from an anonymous source once again..."If it doesn't open, it's not your door"

  1. I agree - the barn is beautiful. I often take photos of old buildings thinking maybe one day I'll recreate them. Will "one day" ever come though - that is the question.

  2. Such an adorable Woof Woof! Theo will be thrilled with this puppy. Nice crochet Fall leaves. How many doors I have tried and now I realize they weren't my doors!!! LOL. Enjoy your wonderful weather. We have perfect Fall weather here as well. <3

  4. A very apt quote! Love it! Your little doggie is very cute. I love the barns that seem to be everywhere over there in the USofA. There seems to be so many different designs. I hope this falling down barn does get interpreted by your clever stitching fingers.

  6. That Yo Yo dog is so CUTE!! That barn gives me a snicker. Terry LOVES barns, no matter what condition they are in. When we are driving on the back roads and see a barn that is not in such good shape, I always say "There's a barn for you, Terry". I'll be interested in seeing how you recreate the holes in the roof.

  9. Cute pooch to make a child happy. You've given yourself a challenge with the old barn but knowing you, you'll make a masterpiece again.
