Two more

This one is entirely made up of straight stitches, with a few French Knots (or you could use beads).

Another simple one - straight stitches and French knots once again..

Today your quote is from Melanie Joy...."Educating yourself does not mean that you were stupid in the first place; it means that you are intelligent enough to know that there is plenty left to learn"

  1. More nice seam treatments. I liked the links with the crochet light balls. However, I think I'd sooner blow up a balloon, dip my thread in glue and wind it around it. Add more glue if needed and let dry. I did this years ago and cut it for an Easter basket. This version is quicker too.

  2. Your seam treatment repertoire must be enormous. Love all your combinations. Lovely crocheted light balls. Fun patina options. Excellent quote and for me...I learn something new each and every day. Lovely Weekend...<3

  3. Pretty seams again. The top one would look great in a glitzy thread on a Christmas seam.
