Ran out of fingers and toes....

Well, it's obvious I did that very thing!  Because the postcard I posted yesterday was really # 14 and it appears I can't count!!  Oops!

So.....this one is number 14 then, or it can be 15....or whatever you want it to be, because obviously I haven't a clue!!  (All I know is that there are four more to go and I can count those on one hand...phew).

Today your quote is from Arundhati Roy... "To love.  To be loved.  To never forget your own insignificance.  To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you.  To seek joy in the saddest places.  To pursue beauty to its lair.  To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple.  To respect strength, never power.  Above all, to watch.  To try and understand.  To never look away.  And never, never to forget"

  1. Lol.....I can't count, either....you'd think at 59 going on 69 years I would have learned by now....nope. Love the postcard stitching. Can hardly wait to see how you bring all of them together. I'm certain it will be epic.

  4. It's obvious though, you are certainly not clueless on how to create beautiful post cards....what's in a number, anyway. =)

  8. Good quote. Much food for thought. Have you read any of her books?

After working on postcards for this long, you'll be lost when the habit switches to a new one!

Your beautiful quote choice was just what I needed to hear today and funny because I've had your page up on my computer since yesterday.
Hard to make a plan sometimes when stuff gets in the way

  14. Lovely stitch motifs and a sweet picture of the little girl.
Perhaps you could miscount more often so we could be delighted by extra postcards.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
