Too busy to take pictures

It's been a busy few days, so my picture taking has been a dismal failure.  So, how about some more garden journal pictures?  I promise I will show you my progress on the pillow later in the week!!

It's difficult to see in the photo, but the page on the right is actually two - there's a small 'page' made with lace that lifts up to show a greeting card designed by one of my favourite artists - Marjolein Bastin.  I actually used several of her greeting cards throughout my journal.

Today's quote is from Isak Dinesen.... "The cure for anything is salt water:  sweat, tears or the sea"

  4. You have used such beautiful laces! I especially love your small lace page with the ribbon rose, it's so pretty, and the little pieces attached on the facing page are all so effective! Barbara xx

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
