Road trip!

Today we went on a little road trip with our friends and I thought you might enjoy seeing just a few of the sights we found along the way...

We visited several different places where the water was absolutely stunning.  The sound and the fury of water is something that has to be seen to be believed.

This is only a sampling of the scenery!

We stopped at a wonderful place where there were tons of wood carvings.
I could have brought several of them home quite happily!

All of these things, plus the bestest Thai food for
lunch!

A wonderful day!!

Today the quote is very fitting and comes from Patch Adams.... "Nature tops the list of potent tranquilizers and stress reducers.  The mere sound of moving water has been shown to lower blood pressure"

  4. Road trips can be so much fun-- especially when you have no "set in stone" plans. Beautiful scenery for sure-- and the wood carvings are magnificent. It sounds like it was just the most perfect day for you and your friends!
