Bag # 2

This one is the 'Americana Tote' (with some revision by me) taken from the book 'Pursenalities - 20 Great Knitted and Felted Bags' by Eva Wiechmann.  It was fun to make and I know I will do this pattern again at some point.

I also have the 'Crocheted Pursenalities - 20 Great Felted Bags' book by the same author but have yet to play with any of those patterns.

If you're interested in the books here are the specs on the knitting book:  ISBN 1-56477-565-8, published by Martingale & Company, c2004.  The crochet book:  ISBN 978-1-56477-750-8, also published by Martingale, c2007.

  8. I didn't realize I had gotten so behind on reading your blog. Glad you got that TUSAL posted! With all the knitting you are doing I expect the orts jar to be near the top next month. This felting is beautiful btw and the name of the book is just plain fun. I can't knit and I've never felted, so I better get this added to my list. Sad your son and daughter-in-love (love that!) is moving away. I'm very lucky to have my kids close by. You will be able to visit them often since you are retired won't you?
