As promised....

Today I will begin a short series of posts (which may, or may not, be interrupted with other things as I go along) showing you what I've been spending my evenings doing over the past while.  These knitted (and felted) bags are destined to be gifts - most probably for Christmas.

Here is bag # 1, which is probably my favourite colour combination of the ones I've done to date...

The pattern is the 'Southwest Style Bag' from a Patons booklet called 'Fabulous Felting'.  I made a few changes, namely by replacing some of the bobbles with beads - I found doing bobbles to be difficult with arthritic fingers.

  7. Love this! The colors are gorgeous and I love the beads you added. Thanks for your comment this morning. My husband tells me that I always come up with another idea before we even finish the one we are working on. LOL He is so good to do anything I ask...he likes it as much as I do. I am blessed.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
