Three forward, four back, seven forward

Yep, that's what I've been counting lately.  Wanna see why??

What's that, you say?

well, it's the beaded edge of the wedding veil
for our next d-i-l-to-be.

The 3 forward, 4 back, 7 forward title of this post refers to the
way I beaded it.

The hair piece part looks like this at the moment...

The bride will decide next week if she would like beading on this part too or whether she prefers the more understated look.

June 25th is 'THE DAY"
just hope it doesn't rain!!

  6. I'd love to hear more about the veil and what she chooses...I've been working with tulle lately but in minature so I'm using the tiniest bits of it unlike you. But I have dreams one day of making pieces for my nieces weddings...I just put on my calendar to pray that it doesn't rain on the 25th.

  11. Sister Magpie, you really are the perfect MIL! What a wonderful gift and heirloom you are making.
Rain, rain go away, come again, another day and not the 25th.
