Twins!

Now don't go and get all exciting thinking I'm
making any sort of 'announcement'!!
These are two baby dolls (twins actually) that were dressed by my friend who spends literally hours crocheting lovely outfits for dolls and then gives them away.  Each of these dolls has a dress, a slip, an undershirt, underwear, bootees, a hat and a coat....all crocheted and designed by her.  She is in her 80's and credits the miles of crocheting she does with keeping the arthritis at bay in her hands.  She wanted me to buy these dolls and she would dress them with instructions that they are to be put away for my grandchildren.  Don't know what I'll do if we end up having boys!!

Finally, here's what I've been working on lately - wonder what it will turn out to be?

  2. The twins are beautiful MA and who knows little boys may like to play with them as long as their Dads aren't looking that is.
I have been looking at that thingy for 10 minutes and I still haven't a clue.

  3. The dolls are precious and any little boy can play with dolls it is practice for being a dad. I am curious about the woodworking project????

  4. Ohh ... MA ... these are so lovely!
    She's done an awesome job!
Contrary to popular belief some boys are okay playing with dolls ... my DS had a doll phase when he was little ... just before Mel was born ... he pretended it was his "baby sister". Glad he didn't drag her around the same way he did that doll! LOL!

So what the heck is that thing you're making? Doesn't look like anything familiar ... thought it might be a fancy knick-knack table ... or maybe an umbrella stand (can't see if the top is open or solid). A cradle possibly if it was turned the other way.

    I'm bsffled!

Hey ... as of this moment I'm on VACATION! ... did you check your schedule yet to see if there's a day that we might get together & play? Let me know!

    Hugs ... Marie
