Just a topstitching fool

Yep, that's what I've been doing all day  -  topstitching on the two jackets.  NOT very exciting to show you I have to admit.  I think I mentioned here a few days ago that I hoped to get white (or cream) jean thread, but evidently they don't make it.  I ended up getting white upholstery thread which worked perfectly.

And finally....how about these for potatoes from our garden?  They're Yukon Golds and Jack very nicely left the toe of his shoe in the frame so you can get some idea of their size.

  1. I don't know about your neck of the woods but today was humid here and a great day to spend sewing. I don't have a garden since I am not a gardener. We just planted a few tomato plants this year but those taters look really good.

  3. You must have had a great garden. That's wonderful! Hey, it's good to have a reference in a photo for size, so the boot toe was a good idea. Lol
