Doll swaps and other interesting things

There are several things to tell you and show you today.  First, I received my little swap doll from Therese and she's wonderful (the doll AND Therese!!).  Here she is....
Unfortunately the sheer sparkle of this wee doll doesn't show up in the photo.  Therese has used Angelina fibre as a background and then built upon that with beads, coiled wire and a pretty face.  Thank you so much Therese!

Here is the wee doll I made for the swap.....

Last, but not least is a very interesting series that my friend Pam Kellogg is posting on her blog concerning depression and methods of dealing with it.  Her experience is slightly different from mine as I'm sure all forms of depression are, but there are also a lot of commonalities.  I'm sure you will find her posts to be well worth reading, if only to gain a better understanding of the disease.  Go here and here for the first two installments of her series. I think Pam is incredibly brave to share her story publicly.  She hopes by doing so that she will help others and I think she will.

  1. First of all, a belated Happy Birthday to both you and Jack. I'm glad you at least got to see the movie you wanted.
Therese does make some gorgeous dolls and your little doll is just outstanding. I am hoping to get into it again after being a slacker for a few months.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
