More experiments

I discovered a technique on Lisa Vollrath's site (LisaVollrath.com) called Crumpled Inking. It required a bare minimum of supplies and so I thought I'd give it a try.
My first attempt is on the right, using a paper somewhere between printer paper and cardstock in weight. I'm not too happy with the results, because I think the crumpling is too 'heavy' looking. The second attempt is better because I used a lighter weight paper and I liked the resulting texture better.
All in all, it was interesting, but not something I am likely to repeat. Altho...I wonder what it would look like using black paper and gold ink?? Hmmmm.....
